§         Special thanks to Adam Law for planning this great church retreat! Hip hip hurray!
§         Our full lineup of Wednesday evening activities resumes this week, with potluck supper beginning at 6:00 PM, prayer at 7:00 PM and Bible Study at 7:30 PM. All are welcome! 
§         The Wednesday night prayer service will be using Wendy Miller’s Soulspace (www.emu.edu/soulspace) as a guide this fall. Soulspace is based on lectionary readings. Contact Jane Halteman for more information.  

§         Next Sunday, we’ll have a blessing for Frank & Corinne Ventura as they move to Morton, IL. After the worship service, join us for a reception in the Fellowship Hall as we share stories and bid Frank & Corinne a fond farewell. 

§         Special thanks to all of the LMC’ers who helped out at the CMLC Quilt Auction last Saturday. The event grossed just over $58,000. Thanks for supporting the great kids of CMLC!

§         Mark your calendars, we’ll have a church work day on Oct. 14. Help us get the church ready for winter and spruced up for the Advent season. Stay tuned for more information.  

§         The Pastor Congregation Relations Committee will meet with Todd and John on Saturday, September 30. The PCRC meets on a periodic basis with each of the pastors. It functions as a support group for the pastors and as a link between them and the congregation. PCRC members are Quentin Clemens,
Mona Blosser, Carlen Sellers and Karin Edwards. You are welcome to contact any of the committee members.

§         The Goshen College cross country team will be at Benedictine University in Lisle for a meet on October 6. If you’d like to come out and help cheer for Ben & Nick Bouwman, contact Jan or Wanda for more information.
