Life Together – Conference Room During the Nazi years, a pastor named Dietrich Bonhoeffer lived and taught in an underground seminary in Germany. In his little book Life Together, he reflected on this profound experience of Christian community. He wrote that it’s precisely in the midst of the difficulties and challenges of Christian fellowship that Christ’s character is shaped in us. As we let go of our “wish dreams” for the ideal community, we grow in our ability to forgive, listen, serve, and bear with one another. In this class, we’ll seek to apply Bonhoeffer’s practical advice about community, prayer, and discipleship to our own lives. Taught by Todd Friesen and Paul Joireman.
Faith Journey Class – Fireplace Room

No reading required, but each week's interaction will be based on tidbits from Kenneth Briggs' The Power of Forgiveness. The class will include quieting music, prayer exercises and careful listening to one another's faith journey stories. Guided by Jane Halteman.
