Lombard Mennonite Church is an Anabaptist-Mennonite congregation in Chicago's western suburbs. Our mission statement, "Come Follow Jesus With Us", reflects our calling to be invitational and welcoming, our commitment to Christ-centered discipleship and peacemaking, and our conviction that we can only live faithfully with the help of a faith community.

Our Lay Leadership:

The Ministry Team is the leadership body of Lombard Mennonite Church, overseeing the day-to-day life and spiritual care of the congregation. It is composed of congregational co-chairs, five lay ministers and our pastor. The Ministry Team meets monthly, generally on the first Tuesday of the month. Current members are: Curtis Funk and Carlen Sellers, Congregational Co-Chairs and Lay Ministers of Administration; Leanna Kaser, Lay Minister of Community Life; Ruth Quiroa, Lay Minister of Education; Sharon Ewert, Lay Minister of Mission; Leah Kabira, Lay Minister of Worship and Todd Friesen, Lead Pastor.

The Administration Commission oversees the finances, buildings and grounds and employees of Lombard Mennonite Church. Its members are: Carlen Sellers, Lay Minister of Administration and Chair; John Hayward, Treasurer; Jeremy Kropf, Chair of Buildings and Grounds; and Ken G Kabira and Doug Kimball.


Our Denomination

Lombard Mennonite Church is a part of the Illinois Mennonite Conference and Mennonite Church USA. We seek to follow the Mennonite Confession of Faith.
