MDS

Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) is a volunteer network of Anabaptist churches that responds in Christian love to those affected by disasters in Canada and the United States. While the main focus is on clean up, repair and rebuilding homes, this service touches lives and nurtures hope, faith and wholeness. We participate in this ministry by sending a team of volunteers to work at a MDS site once a year. This year, Rob and Peggy spent a week at the Chickasaw County site in Mississippi. You can read about their experience on page 5 of the May Vital Signs.
