  • Gospel of Chicago
    Co
    ordinator: Kermit Eby
Chicago has a rich history of ethnic migration, religious diversity, a “pluralistic model” of faith systems, missionary zeal and interfaith dialogue. We will explore these traditions, one “Gospel of Chicago”, through a contemporary cultural lens.

    Meeting Place: Sanctuary

  • Exploring Faith & Baptism
    Coordinator: Todd Friesen
A 9-week class for those who wish to explore faith and baptism. We’ll be reading an excellent book—God’s Story, Our Story—that traces God’s salvation story through the entire Bible. Along the way, we’ll be discussing questions like: What is our Anabaptist/Mennonite understanding of the good news of Jesus? What principles guide our reading of the Bible? Why is covenanting with a faith community so important to our spiritual growth?
    Meeting Place: Church Office

  • Patchwork Place
    Coordinator: Jana Bergfeld
This unique class provides a space in which to create and knot comforters to distribute to those in need in the U.S. and abroad.
    Meeting Place: Fellowship Hall

Adult Team Leader: Carol Bohnert

The adult library is located at the back of the sanctuary in the foyer, where books may be checked out on a self-serve basis. Books focus on a range of topics and several periodicals are available as well, including: Christian Century, The Mennonite, Mennonite World Review and others.
